How do I get the wireless headphones to work for my headrest dvd player

Most of our headrest packages include the all-in-one remote control.  These instructions are for this style remote and headrest kits.

When you turn the units on, most times you will hear the audio signal coming from the built-in speakers but you don't hear any audio coming out of the wireless headphones.  This is because when one signal is turned on, the other signal is turned off assuming you will not wish to listen to the audio both ways at the same time.

To turn the wireless IR signal on, press the IR-TX button on the remote control near the top left area of the remote.  You should see a message on the screen saying IRTX CHA.  This means the wireless audio is turned on for channel A.  If you press the button again it will change to channel B and if you press the button once more it will turn the wireless audio signal off.

Don't forget to install batteries into the wireless headphones and turn them to the same channel you select on the headrest.  Also please note that the wireless IR signal is a "Line of Sight" signal meaning you need to be sitting somewhat behind the headrest to capture the signal with your wireless headphones.  If you step out of the car with the headphones on, you will notice the signal gets distorted quickly or completely fades away.
