How do I turn on the FM transmit signal
Most of our car headrest kits use the all-in-one remote control. These instructions are for this remote style and headrest kits.
The FM transmit feature is a nice feature to allow you to listen to the car headrest audio signal over your car stereo speakers without the need to connect any additional wires. This is accomplished using the built-in FM transmitter included inside the headrest monitor. If turned on, the unit will transmit a FM signal much like a local radio station that you then dial your stereo unit to the same FM frequency to hear the audio.
To turn the FM tranmission on, push the FM-TX button on the remote control near the top left area. You should see a message on the screen saying FM and a frequency. The signal is now on. If you press the FM-TX button again, it will turn the FM audio off.
Because there are many radio on the dial, you may need to select a frequency in your area that is not being used by local radio stations to help avoid overlap and additional noise in the signal. To change the frequency while the frequecy is displayed on your screen after pressing FM-TX, use the blue left and right buttons to change the frequency up or down on the dial.
